"We are God's children, and if we Ever got that through our heads thouroughly and understood that competely, we would never do a small thing, we would never say a cross word. We would not use bad language. We would not criticize anybody. We would love everyone the way the Savior loves us."

I LOVE SUNDAYS!

Today in Sacrament Meeting the spirit was so strong. It was a program that one of the girls in our ward put together on the life of Joseph Smith. It was so amazing. Great talks and musical numbers. I have always know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God but this mornin in church it hit me real hard and testified to me that he was a True and Living Prophet of God. His wife Emma is such an incredible woman as well. She is my hero. She endured alot and was always right by Joseph the entire time...if Joseph was hurtin so was she. They shared the most unconditional love anyone could ever have in there life. Thinkin and Ponderin their lives really makes you stop and think about your own life. My trial a so small compared to what they went through and endured. I love that so much...no matter how hard it got Joseph never ever gave up or denied his testimony of Christ. He was a strong man spiritually. So when you think that your life is hard and rough.....even though it may be, think about Joseph and Emma who gave up so much for what they believed in. The suffered so much so that we can have the restored gospel back on this earth today and so that we could have the Book of Mormon. Remember all that they did and your problems will seem so small. Joseph went through so much but he never stopped serving or loving. When we get into a rut and can't get out or our road is bumpy forget your self and serve others. Service always help to stop thinkin about your self. Never stop loving or serving.

Tonight in Mission Prep we all split up into companionships and we went to an apartment complex and we knocked on doors telling everyone about the temple and inviting them to go. We gave them a card w/ info on it about the temple. I was in a companionship of 3. We talked to 4 people. One girl was out side feedin her cute little turtle and we invited her to go to the open house of the temple and she told us that she had already been through it. She enjoyed it. I'm not sure if she was a member or not. The next place we went to we talk to a guy and a girl. The girl seem interested and the guy im not sure, he was too busy playin the WII to pay attention. We left a card w/ them and invited them out. Idk what will happen but whether or not anything comes of it we planted a tiny seed and tried. The next place we knocked and someone peeked out the window and never opened the door. We left them a card on the door. The last house we went to I talked to the lady who lived there and I asked her if she had seen the temple and she said no and I'm not interested. I told her ok and thanks and to have a great day and she said it back. I had my first rejection and I know there will be many more. She was nice about it so it makes it a lot easier. I love this gospel w/ all of my heart and soul and glad that I am able to have so many opportunities. I'm thankful for my parents and for raising me in the church. I'm thankful for the opportunity to serve a mission soon and I'm so excited. This gospel in my life brings so many blessings into my life. Sundays are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!
